10/14 Péntek/ Friday

There was a grape truck which was suppose to come at 3 PM but it got delayed so instead of prepairing for the reciaval we've just hang around for 80 mins. I've set this deadline to myself that i'm not gonna go to sleep till I finish with my roadtrips dates and places and it's done so I juist have to book it. I've finished around 23:30.

A szüret utolsó szőlőt hozó kamion késett valami miatt így 15:00 helyett csak később jött meg így az utolsó 80 percben ment a lázas semmit tevés mindenki részéről. Ezt a napot tűztem ki magamnak határidőül, azzal kapcsolatban, hogy ma fogom véglegesíteni az útvonalamat és az utazási módot New Orleans-ig. Olyan 23:30 környékén végeztem vele. A vonat lett a végző döntés most azon írom ezt is.

10/15 Szombat/Saturnday

 I've woke up at 6:30 without any alarm. Then I went to a Walmart(big ass supermarket chain) to change the oil in my car. So there is a store 20 mins from here but it used to be full of people so instead of that I've decided to go to Ukiah which is around 40mins from here and I've never been there. So it is definitely smaller city. I've arrived around 8-8:30 then while they were changing the oil I had breakfast. The weather was foggy as hell and a bit chill. After I've called my parents. I've wanted to check out the city but it was full of people becuase there was something for kids and I've could not find parking so I've did the groccery and headed back.Later Before going to Windsor I've bought Jack Keruac's On The Road  then, In the afternoon I went to Windsor (25 mins from here) and found a gorgeous park for hiking. It is just outside the city and right next to the vineyards. You can easily spend 2-3 hours of hiking there. The weather was still foggy and a bit chill so it was a weather for a sweatter :D  In the evening i went out to have dinner with my indian and argentinian colleauge to have dinner but because the argentinian works in the night shift we had to find a place which is open after 9 PM. It is lmost impossible to find it in Healdsburg. Because here the citizents usually eat dinner at 6 which is for me insamely early. Oh yeah their dinner is our lunch.The place was and mexican restaurant  which is was about to close but the tipsy waiter let us have a dinner before they close down.

Valamiért fél 7 kor felkeltem magamtól. Majd egyből elindultam a Walmart irányába de nem a közelebbit választottam mivel ott sokan szoktak lenni ezért inkább elmentem Ukiah-ba ami egy kisebb város és olyan 40 percre van kocsival ja és még soha nem voltam ott. Olyan 8 fél 9 fele már le is adtam a kocsit amin ameddig megreggeliztem ki is cserélték az olajat. Az időjárás egy kicsit hűvösebb volt és ködösebb de attól függetlenül ameddig beszéltem a szüleimmel addig sétálgattam. Majd megakartam nézni, hogy m van a bélvárosba de mivel  nem találtam sehol se parkoló helyet így gyorsan bevásároltam majd mentem vissza. Délután megvettem Jack Kerouac Az Úton című könyvét majd mentem egy kicsit túrázni Windsorba A hely neve Siloh Park ahol bőven el lehet 2-3 órát túrázni. Ja és az egész a szőlőültetvények mellett található. Majd este elmentem az indiai és az argentin munkatársammal vacsizni ami egy kicsit nehézkes Healdsburgben este 9 után mivel szintem minden bezár. De az kicsit spicces mexikói pincér még éppen kiszolgált minket. Azért nehézkes mivel mindenki ilyenkor már szinte alszik mert nagyrészt csak az idősebb korosztály lakik itt akik ilyenkor már ágyban vannak.

10/16 Vasárnap/Sunday

I've slept like shit. About 4 hours and I've woke up at 3:30 and could not sleep back . Around 7-8 I've decided that I have to do something so I've started my day. Chit-chat, spilled coffe, cooking... In the Afternoon I've wanted to see the Geysers which are so everyday from the house. I've drove up there for like 30 mins but I've realized that it is just fanced properties and I could not really go for a hike there so I've returned. Also the weather was really cloudy and I could not even took  good landscape pictures. So I've decided to go to Cloverdale (1 city northern from where I've live) There is a small forest with a lot of trails but after awhile I could not see any other humans and there was some animal's sound so I've back up because I don't want to meet with a montain lion. Than when I've returned to the parking lot I've asked a local guy and he told me that mountain lions are really rare here so I've took another loop there. Then went bed early.

Csodásan sikerült vagy 4 órát aludnom így olyan 3:30 fele keltem majd mivel nem tudtam visszaaludni, így 7-8 fele elkezdtem a napomat. Telozás majd főzés. Délután megakartam nézni a gejzíreket ami a falutól nincsen messze de miután vagy 30 percet vezettem és mindenhol csak elkerített magán területek voltak, így  inkább visszafordultam. Ezek azok a hegyek amelyeket minden nap láttam a házból ahol laktam. Ja és mivel az egész hétvégen hűvös és ködös idő volt így inkább csak túrázgattam egész hétvégén. Végül Cloverdale-be kötöttem ki ahol el is kezdtem túrázni de egy idő után nem láttam már embereket és valamilyen állat hangját hallottam és mivel tudtam, hogy vannak itt bőven pumák így inkább visszafordultam. Majd visszafele egy helyi ember elmondta, hogy nem nagyon jönnek közel az emberekhez így még egy kicsit mentem tovább. Majd korán lefeküdtem

10/22 Szombat/Saturnday

So I talked with 2 of my workmates that we will go to the beach for surfing but finally I ended up alone. I left around 10:30 and arrive to the surf shop in an hour. I've rented the board and a wet suit for a fair price and barely fit the board inside my car. Headed to Doran beach the water was a bit cold but not as bad. The wind was blowing out of the straigh.The waves were perfect for the practice they weren't as high. After a while I've decided that I go outside and have a drink and some food. When I come back most of the surfers were going out but I've stayed for like 30-40 mins, I wanted to stay more but the wind was picking up and somehow the wind direction changed and blow from inland and at the tip of the breaking waves it pushed the water backward to the center of the ocean. I was not really enjoying it at the end so I left arouind 3:20. It took me around 40 mins to get out of the wetsuit and be able to drive cuz if your out of the water it is cold and the wind did not help. So I wanted to surf more and I went a but northern but the wind storm was stronger there. So I return the board and I've started to get really hungry but the restaurant right next to the surf shop was packed: Instead of that I've went to Bottle barn which is a store where they have a lot of inernational alcoholic bewerages, I have not really found so many hungarian wines just a couple old ones from Tokaj wineregion.Then to end my starving I accidentally ended up in a fine dining hamburger. Even the french fries were made out of normal potatos and fried twice. The owner/waiter told me that he picked up the tuna from the ocal market just that morning. Have I mentioned that they have wines from a lot of counties all over the globe. It is cold Vine burger and if your here you have to visit it. 

Kettő munkatársammal megbeszélt, hogy megyünk az oceánhoz na ebből nem lett semmi. Így egyedül indultam el Szörfözni Olyan 10:30 környékén indultam é 1 óra az út van róla videó is. Kibéreltem a deszkát meg a búvárruhát aztán irány Doran Beach. Egy kicsit ferdén fujt a szél de ez tökéletes volt a szörfözéshez és szerencsére a hullámok se voltam magasak. Egy idő után kimentem enni meg inni egyet és a többi szörföző akkor jött ki én még maradtam olyan 30-40 percet többet is akartam de a szél irányt  váltott és a szárazföld felől fujt de annyira, hogy a megtörő hullámok tétjéénél vissza fújta a vizet. Nem nagyon volt élvezetes olyan 3:20 fele kikászálódtam a vizből még olyan 40 perc kellett, hogy szalonképes legyek. Ezután elindultam egy másik strand felé de ott meg homok vihar volt, így inkább feladtam de Visszafele megálltam Santa Rosa-ba a Bottle Barnban ahol minden fajta külföldi borok vannak otthonról csak Tokajiak. Majd megéheztem és véletlenül  rá találtam a Vine Burgers nevű fine dining hamburgerezőre és meg ettem életem leg finomabb hamburgerét ami egy Lazac buri volt amihez a húst a séf/tulaj aznap vett a piacról. Még a sültkrumpli is normális krumpliból van és legalább kétszer van kisütve. Természetesen a világ minden tájáról vannak boraik. 

10/23 Sunday/ vasárnap

In the moring I chated with my family. Than cooked and book all of my train tickets  all the way to New Orleans. I went for a bit of hike in Santa Rosa for a couple of hours. It was fun and like 45 mins to reach a hiden lake inside the mountains. Then at the evening I met with one of my frech colleuge had a couple of beers and some really good wings. That's a wrap. 

Csak a rutin. Majd lefoglaltam az összes vonatjegyet New Orleans-ig. Elmentem egyet túrázni Santa Rosa-ba egy kicsit. Érdekes volt látni a várost fentről és olyan 45 perc alatt el lehet jutni egy rejtett kis tóhoz. Majd az egyik francia munkatársakkal söröztem egy kicsit és itt kezdődött a törzsvendégeskedésem a Fogbelt Brewery-nél Healdsburg-ben.

10/27-28 Nights-Esték

On thursday evening I went to a running event organized by Healdsburg Running company to a local brewery which just open here it is situated right next to the train station which does not operates at all. I was a little tired but I managed to run around 5 km quite slow. Afterwards we had a drink there which was fun to meet with other people.

Csütin a Healdsburg Running Company. rendezni szokott egy futás amelyik egy borászatnál vagy sörfőzdénél ér véget. Ezen a megnevezett estén éppen a Fogbelt volt a kitűzött cél ami egy természetesen nem üzemelő vasútállomás mellett van. A futás után még egy kicsit maradtam beszélgetni  a többiekkel majd másnap a franciákkal visszatértünk.

10/29 Saturnday/Szombat

Around 9-20:30 I went with my idian collauge to Sacramento, State capital of California and a really important governmental city. We passed throught a part of Napa valley and at that area I realized that the valley is a bit more narrower than the one in Sonoma. We stoped at the famous sign. But basically we were just chating and I hope I made a timelapese :D After the valley came the great plain to Sacramento with just a few cities. We took a lout around the Waterfront which is an amusement part/shop in western stlye, It's a really fun place they had some kind of a fair too. Than we checked out the capitol and its surrunding, Than we had a drink before the game, it started at 3PM so europe-friendly time :D We arrive to the stadium just 30 mins before. I've strted to get excited. Actually the tipoff was at 3:20-30. Also if you go to any major sport event you can't bring any bags inside and the check-in is really easy the food here was really expensive. They mostly give you bags on the entrance
Something about the teams Sacramento Kings never won a championships on this name and they used to be finish in the lower section of the scoreboard. Now they are rebuilding a team with great players such as Domantas Sabonis, Keegen Murry, Malik Monk. 

Miami Heat they won a couple of chapionships and their last big performance is in 2019-20 Season where the NBA was in a bubble and they managed to get to the finals but got defeted by the Los Angeles Lakers. The team is mostly the same but they have not really performed as well since then. I have to say I really like how Tylerr Herro plays and the memes about Damn Adebayo :D 

About the game I realized that at the first quater there was an enormous amount of fouls on both sides but after awhile the Kings were stating to take the lead. Also the whole game was in the theme of Dia de Los Muertos (day of the dead) So there was a lot of mexican  realated things. At the half time I met with my father friend and his sone who also come to see it. At a certain point the Kings were leading by 20. Around 7-8 mins to the end the Heat started to get closer there was a pint when it was just 6 in between but I first Sabonis got fouled out then I think Bam Adebayo but the heat could not really take the lead so the kings had their first home win there. I had to mention that a lot of people just come here with their families sometimes even 1 hour late and just have fun and don't really care about the sport. 

We went back to the car and than a quick walk back to the waterfront to wit fo the traiffic to calm down a bit. My father friend also mentioned that this is probably te most well-kept cities that he saw in the US which is I quess it true. On the way back we stopped at Davis a city with a university to have a dinner which was nice than headed back I arrive around 22:30.

Olyan 9:30 Fele elindultam az indiai kollégámmal Sacramento irányába, Kalifornia állam székhelye és fontos közigazgatási központ ebből kifolyólag. A híres Napa völgy táblánál megálltunk és azt észleltem, hogy a Napa völgy mintha egy kicsit keskenyebb lenne. Végig beszélgettük és nem sikerült timelapesot csinálnom. Majd jött a nagy pusztaság néhány kis várossal és végül Sacramento. Egy kicsit megnéztük a vízpartot ahol egy vidámpark van meg egy étterem hajó majd egy kicsit még a hivatali épületeket megsasoltuk és irány a kosármeccs.

Maga a meccs  délután 3kot Európa-barát időben kezdődött. Olyan fél órával korábban érkeztünk meg a helyszínre ahol elkezdtem izgatott lenni mivel nagyon szeretem a kosárlabdát. De a kezdődobás olyan 20-30 perccel később volt csak. Akármilyen major sport eseményre mentek semmilyen táskát nem lehet magaddal vinni, viszont adnak táskát ha vennél valamit. Bent minden nagyon drága volt .

A csapátokról Sacramento Kings soha nem nyerték meg az NBA-t és szinte mindig a táblázat alján végeznek. Most meg megy az építkezés olyan játékosokkal mint Domantas Sabonis, Keegen Murry, Malik Monk.

Olyan játékosok játszanak itt mint Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro és Bam Adebayo.

A meccsről. Az első negyedben nagyon sok személyi hiba volt mindkét oldalon. Majd a Kings vette át a vezetést. Ja és az egész a Dia De Los Muertos témájában zajlott tehát sok volt a Mexikói dolog. A félidőben az Apám egyik barátjával és a fiával beszéltem egy kicsit mert ők is eljöttek a meccsre. A második félidőben  volt, hogy 20 ponttal vezetett a Kings de a vége elött olyan 7-8 perccel kezdett felzárkózni a Heat. Ekkor kezdtek az emberek kipontozódni először Sabonis majd Adebayo. Így végül a Heat nem tudta már behozni az előnyt és a Kings megszerezte az első hazai győzelmet.  Ja és sokan csak késve érkeztek és családostól és a meccs csak másodlagos volt nekik.

A meccs után még egy kicsit kimentünk a folyópartra, hogy meg várjuk míg egy kicsit lecsillapodik a tömeg. Egyébként ez a leginkább tisztán tartott város ahol eddig megfordultam itt. Visszafele még megálltunk Davis-ban ahol van egy nagy egyetem egyet vacsizni majd olyan 22:30 fele haza is értünk.

10/30 Sunday/Vasárnap

After the morning stuff. I went to change the sd card that i've purchased because i can't use it with the action camera. Then on the way back I stoped at Healdsburg to check out Dia de Los Muertos which is a mexican celebration of their lost relatives/friends. There where classic cars, playground for childs, food trucks, and music. After we checked it out with my french friends we ended up in a tasting room. The winery's name is Roadhouse and producing just Pinot Noirs from different part of Medocino and Sonoma county. On the northeren vineyards its a bit more cold because of the surrinding mountains and in the southern area the wind from the ocean constanly blews so it gives different tastes for the wines. They are all aged in oak for at least 18 mounths. On the tasting menu they even mentioned the clones they using. It was a really good experience to see the different faces of a single variety. We had a bit of chat afterwards than each of us when to our own way.

A reggeli rutin után Elmentem kicserélni az memória kártyát mivel nem kompatibilis a kamerával. Visszafele megálltam Healdsburgben a Dia de Los Muertos-t megnézni ami a mexikói hallottak napja. Van ott minden gyerek zsúr klasszikus kocsi, éttel ital, zene… Majd miután meguntuk a francia munkatásaimmal elindultunk bort kóstolni. A Roadhouse- ba tértünk be ahol csak Pinot Noir-ral foglalkoznak és elmagyarázta a kostoltató személyzet, hogy mik a különbségek a különböző helyről származó szőlőkben. Az északiak egy kicsit hidegebb klímával rendelkeznek míg a déliek meg melegebbel és kiegyenlített az időjárással mivel a szél szinte mindig fúj az óceán felől. Mindegyik vagy 18 hónapot tölt hordóban és még a szőlőklónokat is feltüntették. Nagyon érdekes volt egy fajtának a több arcát megismerni és teljesen megváltoztatta a franciák véleményét az itteni Pinot-ról.

Right after work I changed my clothes and headed to Oakland to see a show at Gilman 924 One of  the longest lasting indepentent concdert venue in the world. I arrived a bit late around 6:15 to my airbnb and I droped of my stuff and take a breather then headed to Gilman street.
I missed the first band but the rest was awesome mostly Hardcore, metal genre with a lot of scream. Each band played around 40-50 mins and before the breaks I hanged out with some youngster like 16-19 year old kids some of them were the band. That's what i like about Gilman it always helps the local bands to play. I accidentally met a hungarian we talked a bit about what we are doing here it has surprisingly good. On the way back I stopped to eat some fast food.

Pénteken munka után egyből haza átöltözés és irány Oakland (Tölgyföld), mindez azért, hogy egy koncertet megnézzek a Gilman Street 924-ben ami az egyik leghosszabb ideje fent álló független koncert helyszín az északi féltekén és mindig is a kevésbé ismer helyi zenekarokat támogat mint  régen a Green Day, Rancid, Bad Religion…. Ja de mivel késve érkeztem meg ezért kocsival mentem oda így is elkéstem.
Sajnos lekéstem az első koncertet de a többi zenekarok nagyok jók voltak leginkább Metál és Hardcore ahogyan letudnám írni a stílust. Minden zenekar olyan 40-50 percet játszott majd egy kicsi szünet és jött a kövi. A zenekarok szemtelenül fiatalok és tehetségesek voltak és a koncert után meg ők is ott maradtak a tömegben. Ja és valahogy tök random találkoztam egy magyar csávoval akivel egy kicsit beszéltem majd haza fele megálltam egyet enni aztán a többit majd holnap.

Really early in the moring around 6 I left because I wanted to finish my visa application which I could not done during the week. So I have to return to Berkley to go to Ameoba music . The application took like 4 hours of my life way to much that I expected it to be. After that i called my parents then meet with my french collauges and had a couple of beers in Windsor.

Másnap hajnalban olyan 6 fele elindultam vissza fele, hogy befejezem a vízum jelentkezésemet, mivel ezt a hét folyamán nem sikerült. Mindez olyan órámba telt. Mivel korán indultam így az Amoeba musicot kihagytam de azóta már bepótoltam. Később beszéltem a szüleimmel majd este megittunk néhány söcit a franciákkal 

11/6 Vasárnap/Sunday

I prepared my lunch for the week then called my sister and my best friend. I rewarded myself with a caffe becasue I promised myself that I won't  buy caffe untill my next harvest is on its way and the ones at work are half-decent ones. Around 12:40 my and my french friends headed to Sonoma our first stop was En Grade where the winemaker is hungarian we had a tasting of all of their wines The winemaker started to a make and sell wines from a garage and the name En Grade comes from that the people liked his wines and he always poured much and in order tto not get drunk you have to cover your glass to stop him. The tasting room guy told a lot of stories about the vineyards and the whole process. Our favourites were the Pinot Noirs from 2018 and 2019 the newer one was still to at its peak. At the end there was a fortified wine like a port but of course it cant be called like that. Which was interesting for me but the french guys told be that in French only old people drink it. 

The second winery was where I work so Imagery during the tasting there the french guys get to know Barbarea which is a italian grape variety simular to Grenché but it is a bit more harsh. Also at the Reisling they find the wine a bit corky so we asked the tasting room server to check it and she said that she was not realised it when she opened it but so she opened another one and it was fine. Also  it was a bit stuffy, close on the nose (fülledt) which for me it can be because the Reislings used to have a hint of it but for them it was an error. At the end I showed them the facility. Later we went to Hopmonk tavern in Sonoma for a beer then headed back. 

Reggel sütés meg beszéltem a húgommal meg a legjobb barátommal. Meg jutalmaztam magamat magam egy normális kávéval mivel a szüret alatt csak ilyen kávészerű dolgokat fogyasztottam.  12:40kor elindultuk a franciákkal Sonoma irányába az első megállónk az En Garde borászat volt ahol a borász magyar. A név onnan ered, hogy amikor kezdte a borászkodást akkor mindig tele töltötte a poharakat így a vendégek mindig berúgtak és ahhoz, hogy ezt elkerüld lekellett fedned a poharad innen a kifejezés. A kostoltató sok sztorit elmondott a borászatról szőlőkről.. A kedvencünk a Pinot voltak 2018 és 2019-ből a fiatalabbnak még kell egy kis idő a csúcsig. Majd meg kóstoltuk a portoi szerű bort, természetesen nem nevezhetik így. Ami érdekes volt és a franciák azt mondták, hogy ott náluk csak az öregek isszák ezt.

Második borászat Imagery itt dolgoztam 2019-ben. A franciáknak újdonság volt a Barabarea ami a Grenaché olasz rokona csak egy kicsit húzosabb az íze. Volt egy rajnai rizling is amit egy pöppet dugósnak éreztek és meg is kérdeztük a kostoltatót és tényleg az volt, ezért nyitott egy új palackot. A Rizlingekre jellemzően ez is egy kicsit fülledt volt ami neki már egyből hibaként jött le. Majd egy kicsit körül vezettek őket és még ittuk egy söcit Sonomában a Hopmonk sörfőzdében.

In the morining I went to fix the car. While I was waiting I had a caffe at a tipical american diner. that at 11 the harvest party begin in Windsor we were bowling drinking eating and I showed my own wine to the intern and to the cellar master. Around 2 the majority left then we went to another bar till 5-6. And after that just the interns went to the french guys house and had fun tlll we can. I even stayed there for the night.

Reggel elmentem egy kocsiszerelőhöz aki megjavította a gépjárművet. Meg ittam is egy kávét egy tipik amcsi reggelizőben. Majd 11-kor kezdődött a szüreti buli Windsorban ahol volt kaja meg bowling meg díjátadás is ahol megkaptam az aranyásót. Néhány munkatársamnak meg mutattam a saját boromat. Majd 2 fele a nagyrésze az embereknek lelépett. A keménymag maradt olyan 5-6ig egy másik kocsmában ahonnan meg a Francia barátaim szállás helyére mentünk a gyakornokokkal és én a kanapén aludtam.

11/12 Szombat/Saturnday

I had a nice breakfast in a donut shop then headed back to Geyserville called my family did my grocerries. In the afternoon our brasilian colleauge invited us to a hike in Kenwood so we went there it was nice we started on a trail which said that there will be waterfalls but we ended up going to 3 waterfalls but there was not enught water in it so we were really dissopionted. Afterwards we had a beer at the Jack London Saloon in Glen Ellen.

Reggel amig a többiek aludtak elindultam reggelizni egy fánkos helyre amit az egyik barátom ajánlott. Egy kicsit beszéd a családdal meg bevásárlás és délután a francia és a brazil munkatársimmal elmentünk túrázni Kenwood közelébe. Ahol 3 vízesés mellet is elmentünk de egyet se láttunk. Majd még megittunk egy italt a Jack London Saloon-ban ami ott van ahol a múltkori alkalommal laktam.

11/13 Vasárnap/Sunday

I went to church in Healdsburg and the service was interesting the pastor was talking about that even thought the end of times is coming but we should not forget about our daily duties. Also there was a women who in the middle of the service stood up and asked who is a veteran and handed out thank you cards. The service was around 1,5 hour long which is surprisingly long for me. I cooked my lunch then headed out to a small hike which was nice and sunny after that I bought a chimichanga for dinner.

Reggel elmentem templomba az Istentiszteletre ami érdekes volt. Arról beszélt a lelkész, hogy annak ellenére, hogy valamikor jön a végítélet még ugyanúgy kell tenni a dolgainkat. Az IT közben volt egy asszony aki ilyen köszönőkártyákat adott a veteránoknak. Ja és itt olyan 1,5 órán át tart ez az esemény majd megfőztem és egy kicsit túráztam, Ami menő volt és napos volt.

11/18 Péntek

Sajnos nem dolgoztam mivel tragikus események történtek a borászatzban. Then my french friend cut my hair finally it was way too long. We had a couple of beers and also went to try out a burrito place which was fine. Later I went to buy my birthday present a new lens for my analog camera. Also had a caffee at A'roma roasters and checked out their selection of  caffes which are mostly organic ones. Later on we continued the drinking at the french guy's house we tried an Oyser Bay Sauvignon Black from New ZeeLand which was a bit too much oaky but it can be felt that just part of the wine was in barrels. Then the Benziger's rozé which is amazing. and finally their traditional one beaujolais nouveau because that's thier tradition to drink at this time of the year.I stayed over.

Sajnos nem dolgoztam mivel tragikus események történtek a borászatban. Az egyik francia csávó megnyírta a hajamat mert már nagyon hosszú volt. Majd ittunk néhány söcit és vettünk burritokat. Késöbb elmentem és vettem egy objektívet magamnak, 50 mm az analog kamerához. Ittam egy rendes kávét az A’roma Roasternél ahol lehet szemes kávét is venni amelyikek nagyrésze bio is. Később folytattuk az ivást a franciáknál. Első bor Oyser Bay Sav Blanc Új-zélandról, túl hordós, vajas. Második bor Benziger Rozé ami csodás. Harmadik meg tradicionálisan egy beaujolais nouveau és még ott is aludtam.

11/19 Szombat/ Saturnday

I woke up quite early around 6-6:30 just to be able to go to the ocean for a run with again Healdsburg running company. I've just picked my cameras up before it. Vlog will come soon. I ran around 12 kms in a trail the landscape was amazing but the trail running is a different sport than the one I used too. One was to be really carefully not to fall because of the roots, rocks.. The elevation was circa 400 which quite killed my legs but the crew was amazing. After that I when to Cafe Aquatica which is a hidden gem they have a vegetarian food and amazing caffe and a lot of different arts to buy. The food of choise was a bagel with beet cream, sour cream and ruccola and salmon, and a cookie. I could not ge any service on the way back which normally would not bother but since I had to communicate with one of the french guys it was a pain in the ass. At around 12:30 we visited 2 wineries which are on the same estate. Long story short I met a guys in a caffe in Healdsburg who told me about this viticulturist who knows a lot about local viticulture and that's how we ended up talking with him. The winery is Truett Hurst and the viticulturist is Paul Doran, he told a lot about the biodynamics here and the history of the viticulture and a lot of different stuff realated to this.We were both amazed by his knowledge. We tasted 2 wines first was the Bluebird Sauvignon Blanc a really fruity one but still has a good body and the GPS (Grenache, (Petite) Sirah) whiich was a delicate well balanced wine.He showed us the estate than we ended up at the other winery's tasting room it's name is VJM we tried the orange wine which is quite a unique thing for us. 2 Chardonnays the first was fruitty and buttery, oaky at the same time, so it gave it a great complexity. The second one was the one the most consumers by nowadays which is more oaky, and tastes like pastery. Then 3 Pinot noirs Stars, Moon Earth. The stars are from the furtherest vineyard from the estate and the earth is situated on the estate. The moon which was my favourite is a bit more harsh and has the smell that is close to soil's smell.We tried the sirah too which was a bit harsh. Also check out their labels.

At the night I had my birthday party in Santa Rosa at Vine Burgers with the french guys and my former cellar master.After that we we had a beer at the Cooparage and at the Plox. Both had some music going on the Copparage was some kind of phsycadelic rock and the plox had a metal band called The massangers then headed home

6-6:30 környékén keltem azért, hogy eltudjak menni futni a Healdsburg running Companyval az Óceánhoz. Még mielőtt elindultam volna még a kameráimat felkaptam. Videó is jön majd. Olyan 12 km-et futottam egy ösvényen ami még mindig furcsa terep nekem. A környezet csodás volt. Ha valaki tájfutásra adja a fejét készüljön fel arra, hogy nagyon oda kell figyelni hova lép. Olyan 400 m emelkedést volt bene ami egy kicsit durva volt a lábának de a csapat csodás volt. Majd a Caffe Aquatica-ban reggelizem egy lazacos, céklás, rukkolás bagelt és egy rendes kávét is mellé. Ha erre fele jársz muszáj betérned mert zseniális egy hely még különböző művészeti dolgokat is lehet venni. Majd mivel az óceán partok olyan, hogy lefedettség az nincs ezért nehézkesen de el tudtam küldeni az egyik francia csávonak a hely nevét ahol hivatalosak voltak egy borkostolóra. Olyan 12:30 re oda is értünk. A fő szőlész fogadott minket és mindenről is beszélt a helyi borászatról elkezdve a biodinamikus gazdálkodásig. Mindezt a kontaktot úgy kaptam, hogy még az ittlétem elején beültem egyet kávézni és egy idősebb emberrel elkezdtem beszélni és Ő adta meg a főszőlész telefonszámát. A borászat neve Truett Hurst lenyűgöző volt beszélni vele.  2 bort kostoltunk a falatkák mellé az egyik a Bluebird sav blanc ami egy gyümölcsös és egyben testes bor. A másik a GPS  (Grenache, (Petite) Sirah) ami egy nagyon kiegyensúlyozott vörösbor. Majd még a szomszéd borászatot is meg kóstoltuk aminek a neve az, hogy VJM először a naracsborral kezdtük. 2 Chardonnay-t kostoltunk meg az első egy gyümis de vajas  Ízeket is hordozott magában. Míg a második, meg nagyon vajas ízű volt amit mostanában  keresnek a vevők. 3 Pinot Noir-t is meg kóstoltunk az első a Csillagok, második Holt és az utolsó meg a Föld mivel az van a legközelebb a borászathoz. A csillagok meg a legtávolabb és teljesen más karaktert képviselnek. A Hold volt a kedvencem amelyik egy kicsit húzosabb meg egy minimális talaj illata van. A Syrah-t is megkostoluk ami egy kicsit húzosabb íz világgal él. Nézzétek meg a címkéjüket.

Este meg a szülinapi bulimat megtartottuk a Franciák jöttek el meg a volt főnököm akivel nagyon jóba lettem. A Vine Burgersbe voltunk. Majd a Cooperage sörfőzdében ittunk meg egy söci meg a Plox sörfőzdében ahol egy metál banda is játszott. Úgy rémlik Messangers a nevük.

Called my parents than clean the car. Went to Dwontown, Santa Rosa and I had a normal caffe at Crooks Caffee and wonder around a bit. Also I sold my old phone. On the way back I stoped by at a cominc store and bought a comic for 5 bucks called, Monstress. 

Felhítam a szüleimet majd elmentek császkálni Santa Rosa belvárosába. Elfogyszottam egy normális kávét és eladtam a régi telómat. Vissza fele vettem egy képregényt 5 dollárért a címe Monstress.

11/24 Thursday/Csütörtök

I have to mention that on the Wednesday  I rode my bike back to the winery to return it and said goodbye to everyone there.

On Thursday I have to do my laundry before my next trip. That is the reason why I was late to arrive at my host’s dad house. There was a lot of people from my host’s family some of them are even stayed at our place. The dinner was delicious there was turkey, ham, salad chili and beans and a lot of other food. The whole dinner was done by 9 because it started really early. Afterwards we went back home and play some drinking game till late with the host’s kids.

Megakarom említeni a szerdát  mivel aznak be bringáztam a borászathoz elköszönni és visszaadni a cangát.
Csütin meg volt a mosás ezért csak később értem oda a házigazdám apukájához ahol volt megtartva a hálaadás. Nagyon sokan voltak a családból, sok kaja volt pulyka, sonka, chilisbab, sütik… Nagyon finom volt de az egész olyan 9 fele véget ért mivel úgy itt nem szoktak ebédelni ezért csak estebéd van olyan 5-6 fele. Majd később még kártyázunk egy néhány órát.

It had to run out my hangover to be functioning normally. I did not do anything special on that day just hang around and go to sleep early.

Reggel ki kellett futnom a másnaposságot, hogy normálisan funkcionáljak de kb. ennyi volt az egész nap.

11/26 Saturnday/Szombat

I’ve packed my baggage while I was watching the Argentina vs Mexico. Than I went to have lunch with my French friends at a dinner in Healdsburg. Later in the evening there we went to check out the tractor/track parade in Geyserville which is an event where all the farmers decorate there tractors and go through I Geyserville. It was interesting to see that many people in a small village.

Szombaton összepakoltam a cuccomat amig az Argentina vs mexikó meccset néztem. A franciákkal ebédeltünk egyet Healdsburgben. Este meg megnéztük a házigazdákákkal a traktor/kamion felvonulást Geyserville-ben. Minden járgány felvolt díszítve és valamilyen szavazás is volt rá. Érdekes volt ennyi embert látni egy kis faluban.

Bevezetés

Igazából már a múlt héten is csak a hétfőm volt szabad, a többin meg dolgoztam olyan 9-11 órá. Mivel 40+ fokok voltak így reggel 5kor kezdtünk nagyrészt minden nap. Az egyik nap valahogyan sikerűlt fél négykor elszakadnom a munkából és így eludtam menni elhívatni a 8. tekercset ahol már ki is néztem, hogy milyen objektívet fogok majd venni ha mégegyszer oda jutok. Meg az A'roma Roastert is meglátogattam(Majd a kvézos blogban meg lesz említve ). 

Actually the on day weekends has started with september wich means that I work on 6 days and I'm off from the work on mondays. For this week it was 40+ degrees which means that we started at 5 AM but it would not really metter becuase we were working overtime everyday. On day I was manage to get off at 3:30 so I could get my developed film the 8th roll I might include some. I might get a lens from that shop if I will get there on time. 

9/11  Vasárnap este/ Sunday evening

Napközben is már kitaláltam, hogy valamit fogok csinálni este, mert úgy is mindegy mikor kelek fel másnap. Napközben kitaláltam, hogy elmegyek moziba és a filmet, úgy volt, hogy az egyik francia munkatársam is jön velem de végül is nem jött. Olyan 5-ig dolgoztam és utána egyből bevásárolam gyorsan majd kipakolás és irány a mozi, amelyik a Santa Rosa-i reptér mellet van. A film cime 

Reggel  szokásos dolgok majd korábban indultam el Santa Rosa felé ahol elintéztem néhány dolgot de nagyrészt csak érdkelődések voltak nem eketíve vásárlások. Ja és még mielőtt elindultam vettem New Orleans Pelicans, a kedvenc kosár csapatom, meccsére jegyet Decemberbe nagyon olcsón. Majd elindulam Sonoma fele pont annyira messze van már, hogy csak úgy estére nem ugornék oda le egy koncertért. A Warm spring Rd-on jöttem amit már levideóztam.Így átmentem Glen Ellenen azon a telepűlésen aol múltkor laktam. Majd a Haraszthy family Cellars- t akartam meg látogatni de mint kiderűlt az a cím amit megadtak az csak egy raktár épület. Ez után elindultam a Buena Vista borászat írányába amit Haraszthy Ágoston alapított, aki az első szőlőültetvényeket telepítette Kaliforniába és ez a borászat hozta el az első sikereket az Egyesűlt Államokból. Az életéről berakok egy hosszab cikket. 

A borászathoz egy eldugott út vezet fel Sonomából. A felszolgálóval sikerült megbeszélnem, hogy ingyen legyen a borkostoló. Nagyon jó borok voltam az első pezsgő jobban tetszett mert egy kicsit savasabb volt. A Sheriff egy nagyon jó házasítás de mivel sok fajtából van, így nincs egy kifejezett karkatere inkább egy könnyed vörösborként írnám le. A Pinot noir-ral hasonló a helyzet bár ez már jóval többet töltött hordóban. A Zinfandel meg egyszerűen csonálatos leginkább gyümölcsös jegyek jelemzik de meg van füszeressége is és így egy nagyon komplex bor lesz belőle.A felszolgálóval meg a melettem lévő házaspárral menetközben jól elbeszélgettem. Majd mivel, kicsi borászatról van szó ezért a hátsó feldolgozót is megtudtam nézni. Itt találkoztam egy magyar gyakornokkal, mivel van egy program aminek a keretei között minden évben valaki kijöhet Tokaj hegyaljáról dolgozni ide egy szüretre. Éppen a szőlőből válogatta ki a rohadtakat és a leveleket egy rázó asztalon. Egy kicsit besegítettem neki ameddig beszélgetünk is.Maga az egész élmény nagyon felemelő volt és remélem még vissza fogok tudni ide jönni, mert kevés időm volt most. 

Ezután még bementem Sonomába egy kávé erejéig meg körül nézni a fötéren ahol most meglepően kevés turista volt. Visszafele még megáltam annál régen fejlesztési központnak nevezett helynél ahol amikor ott laktam sokszor futottam és még mindig teljesen üresen álnak a házak. 

After the moring checkups I even bought an NBA ticket to see the Pelicans in their home stadium. I had some stuff to get done in Santa Rosa then I headed to Sonoma, which is in tha distance that I would not go there just for some event in the night. I drove thrught the the montains on the room which you can see on the video. I wanted to see Haraszty Family winery but on the address there was just a warehouse so I went to see check out Buena Vista winery.

About the winery it was esteblished by a Hungarian buisnessman called Ágoston Haraszthy. I become the first premium winery of California's history. He distributed the Zinfandel in the area. More about him in the link.

I managed to get a free tasting with the tasting room representative.The wine's were absolutly the best that I've tasted in a while. I like the first sparkling better because it was a bit more acidic.The Sherriff got its name because he was the first Sherriff of San Diego. Because it has quite much varieties inside it has a great balance and all of the varieties help each other to get a complex wine. The Pinot noir has a great body but it is still a smooth, easy to drink read wine. The Zinfandel is the best from it's variety that I've ever tasted it has a bit a spicyness but mostly the fruity taste are dominant. During this time I had a nice chat with the tasting stuff and the couple next to me. After I was finished they show me around the back where the production is done. I even met a hungarian intern who is from Tokaj wineregion. He explained me that there an exchange program where one person goes to Tokaj while the other comes here. I even helped him a bit with selecting the grapes becasue they are a small production they have the capacity to do that.I'm sure that I will return here because it was such an uplifting experiance.

After that I went to downtown Sonoma to have a caffe and look around a bit. Surprisingly there were not so many people around. On the way back I stoped for a bit in that development center where I used to run a lot and it was still empty but the grass was green and well irrigated. To conclude if you ever come here you must try Buena Vista wines not just because they can't be bought anywhere else but because they are really well made. 

Amiket Kostoltam/What I've tasted

8/15- 8/20 

Kezdtem a munkát de eleinte még csak körbe mutogatták a pincéket amiből 10 van és egy kinti, ebből nagy részre csak hordós de akad acéltartályos is. Azért van  többségben a hordó mert a fehérborokat hordóban erjesztik. Eleinte úgy volt, hogy a délutános műszakban leszek de mivel annyira nem tetszett az ötlet ezért inkább átkértem magam a nappali műszakba ahol a hordókkal fogok foglalkozni. Eddig nem annyira nem pörgős  de remélem, hogy meg változik majd. 

I've started to work and on the first days there were just orientations and trainings because the facility is huge it has  10 cellars mostly full with barrels and 1 on the outside. The whole winery is situated next to a rail road, which does not operate. Their first harvest was in 1876 and has not stopped during the prohibition. They are mostly produce white wines which are fermented in barrels. I've ended up being in the barrel team cuz I didn't really wanted to work in the swing shift. So far it was a bit easy but soon it will be busier

8/21 Szombat/ Saturnday

Délelőtt dolgokat intéztem bevásároltam.... Majd olyan 3 fele átmente a francia munkatársaimhoz egyet csobbanni meg sütkérezni ahova az indiai munkatársunk is megérkezett. Elvoltunk aztán haza fele természetesen eltévedtem

 I've done a bit of my stuff in the morning then I hang out with French and Indian colleagues. They have a pool and it was nice to have a splash in the heat. And of course on the way home I got lost but I finally got back.

8/21 Vasárnap /Sunday

Reggel bevásároltam majd megfőztem a hétre. Aztán valamikor kora délután elindultunk a franciákkal Bodega Bay-be menetközben megálltunk egy pékségben (Wild Flour) ami a semmi közepén van de nagyon finom pékáruik vannak. Egy kicsit körülnéztünk de mivel eléggé fújt a szél meg felhős is volt az idő így nem maradtunk sokáig. Majd mint kiderült a faluban minden étterem délután 6kor bezár, Emiatt Sebastopolban egy japán étteremben ettünk vacsit ami nagyon finom volt én sushit ettem. 

After the morning routine I went to pick up the French guys and we headed to Bodega bay and on the way we stopped in a bakery (Wild Flour) where they have a lot of delicious breads and pastries. We discovered Bodega head but it was like Scotland windy and cold so we decided to have dinner and because everything closes at 6 PM we went to Sebastopol to have some Japanese.

8/27 Szombat/Saturnday

Reggel egyből elindultam a közeli tóhoz mivel egy közös futást szervezet a helyi futó közösség(Healdsburg Running Company). Mivel az erdőből indultunk ezért terepen volt a futás ami teljesen más mint amiket eddig csináltam mivel itt sokkal inkább kell figyelni a talajra meg, hogy el ne tévedje. Szerencsére nem tévedtem el mert vissza fele már egyedül futottam de volt aki 50 mérföldet futott le aznap, ami 80 kmnek felel meg. Majd a szokásos bevásárlás... délután meg átmentem a francia gyakornokokhoz. 

 After I woke up I went to a nearby lake because a local running company (Healdsburg Running Company) organizes runs in every week. I've followed a group of fellow runners, because it was a trail run and I didn’t wanted to get lost. After a while I returned because they were planning to run 50 miles. When I returned they offered some tacos for breakfast I hanged out with organizers a bit. In the afternoon I went to meet with the French interns.

8/28 Sunday/Vasárnap

A szokásos telefonálgatások után elmentem egyet túrázni a mamutfenyők (Sequoia sempervirens ) közé Guerneville-be, ami tök jó volt. Természetesen nem csak Mamutfenyők voltak meg van egy kis koncert tér is. Néhol lehetett látni, hogy hol égettet végig az erdőtűz. Utána körül néztem a faluba amely nagyon apró de szépen néz ki és van egy folyó ami sokan lapátoltak vagy kajakban/kenuban vagy supon.

After the morning routine I went to check out the redwoods (Sequoia sempervirens ) in Guerneville it was cool to be in the nature and it was a bit colder. It was a bit strange that the trail was surrounded by big trunks so you could not miss the trail. There was a small concert hall and in some places you could see where the fire burned through. Then I went to check out the town which has a river and it looks cool I think I will revisit it soon.

8/31 Szerda/ Wednesday

Dél körül bementem Healdsburgbe, hogy be váltsam a fizetési csekkemet és ahogy beálltam a sorba egyből áramszünet lett az egész épületben és mint később kiderült a város egy részében is. Ezek után elindultam Clear lake fele ami már egy másik megyében van. Aztán a kitűzött úti célnál rádöbbentem, hogy a tó nagyon nem tiszta, inkább iszapos és algás a partja meg teljesen kiszáradt. A környéket úgy tudnám leírni, hogy redneck county. Majd miután konstatáltam, hogy nem lesz ma fürdőzés így inkább elmentem megnézni a közeli várost, Lakeportot ami apró de a belvárosa szép és hullámos a főutca domborzata. Ittam egy jó kis Cubanot majd vissza fele egy kicsit eltévedtem de sikeresen haza értem, a hegyeken átvezető utak nagyon szépek majd valahogy megpróbálom őket megörökíteni. 

 Around Noon I went to Healdsburg to deposit my paycheck than when I entered the bank the electricity was shut down but not just in the bank but in a major part of the city. :D After I went to Clear lake which is in another county, the first destination that I choose was a beach where the water was very far from clear, it was totally green and full of ale. That was when I realized that I won't be able to swim today. The  place was looked like redneck county. I went to Lakeport the only town close by, the center itself is gorgeous and the main road is going up and down On the way back I missed my turn so I got lost again but I managed to return. 

9/5 Hétfő/Monday

A délelőtti főzés után eldöntöttem, hogy valamilyen vízparton töltöm a napot mivel 46°C ot mondtak a mai napra és a hétre se mondanak sokkal hidegebbeket. Így jutottam el az Csendes-óceánig ahol jóval lejjebb volt a hőmérő higanyszála. Mivel egy munkaszüneti nap van ezért az összes ember elindult, és minden parkoló tele volt. Maga a tengerpart apró kavicsos és pont kellemes mennyiségű ember volt ott. Sokan nem mentek be teljesen mert eléggé hideg volt de ez nem tartott vissza. Majd miután meguntam elindultam a közeli folyó torkolatához ami az Orosz folyó nevet kapta mivel sok orosz telepes volt itt. Be is tértem egy kvra és némi ételre a Cafe Aquatica ami egy nagyon kis hangulatos kis kávézó egy tök szép terasszal, ami pont az óceán fele néz. (A KVZó blogban majd részletezem.)  A folyón elég sokan eveztek de egy strandot se láttam. Majd vissza indultam, hogy megírjam a blogot

After I've finished my cooking, I decided that I'm gonna spend the rest of the day close to a body of water cuz the weather guys predicted to reach  46°C today and the same goes for the rest of the week. I drove to the Pacific ocean where the it was way cooler but because it's a holiday a lot of people were on the road. The beach was covered with small rock and the right amount of people. The water was chilly but so I was quite alone swimming in it. After a bit I when to see the mouth of the Russia river which was name after the origin of the people who settle down here. I had some food and a coffee at Cafe Aquatica (will be detailed in another blog). It has a nice patio overlooking the ocean. There were a lot of pedaling people on the river but no one was swimming. Then I returned to write finish this.

8/4 Csütörtök/ Thuesday 

A  szüleim úgy döntöttek, hogy felvisznek munka után. Útközben a leendő szállásadóm felhívott mert nem még az utolsó napig nem volt biztos, hogy hol leszek el szállásolva.  Majd a testvérem elment egy koncertre (Blahalouisiana 10. születésnapi). Nem sokkal később a szüleim is elmentek. Majd az egyik barátomat felhívtam mert születésnapi bulit tartottak és így egy kicsit én is csatlakoztam hozzájuk majd  korán vízszintesbe vágtam magamat. 

So my family decided that they take me to my sister's flat on the day before. On the way of my host called me to show around the house. Yes I was not sure where I will stay until the last day. Then my sister left to a concert after son after my parents when back home too. I called some of my friends because they were having a birthday party so I jointed them for a bit that when bad really early.

A finn személyzet nagyon kedves és segítő kész volt, mellettem egy tenisz ösztöndíjjal a Michigani egyetemen tanuló fiatal hölgy ült, másik oldalon meg egy középkorú úriember foglalt helyet. 

The British airways outsourced the flight to the their Finnish colleagues whom were really helpful. On my right there was a middle-aged man, on the other side there was a young lady who has a scholarship in tennis at the University of Michigan.

8/6 - 8/13

Nagyjából így teltek a napjaim. Reggeli után blogot írtam vagy haza telefonáltam vagy valamilyen ügyeket intézni, olyanokat mint, hogy legyen bankszámlám meg telefonszámom. Majd nap közben bekaptam valamit és ha nem mentem el a faluból akkor általában sétáltam egy nagyot, hogy egy kicsit felfedezzem a környéket.  Este meg közösen vacsoráztunk a házigazdáimmal általában utána fagyiztunk vagy kimentünk zöldégeket/ gyümölcsöket szedni a kertből.

Néhány érdekesebb dolog ami a héten történt. Találkoztam a volt főnökömmel egy sörözés alkalmára ahol még egy random kvízversenyen is sikerült kikaptunk . Másnap meg beköszöntem a borászathoz és kaptam egy kerékpárt, amit aznap  nagyjából egésznap tekertem elmentem Cloverdale-ig Healdsburgból ami olyan 30-35 km, Healdsburg a nagyobb város ahol fogok dolgozni. Egyenlőre nagyon hasonlít Sonomára csak egy kicsit mintha jobban a turistákra lenne kihegyezve. Még van egy részen ilyen tök jól elszeparált gyalogos/kerékpáros sétány. Pénteken meg bementem megint a bankba és utána egy eléggé hosszan beszélgettem egy idősebb bácsival eleinte a helyi Jazzról volt szó majd minden másról. Ja és mindeközben próbálok gépjárművet bérelni vagy venni mert tömegközlekedés az úgy van, csak minek hozzáállással létezik. 

That's how I spent my days. After breakfast,  I called my parents or wrote my blog or get some stuff done like get a local number and open a bank account so as my host said 'to put my millions of dollars to it. I just have to ask Simi(The winery's name) how much they want to contribute' Actually that trip to Santa Rosa, biggest city around here, took me around 6 hours. When I got tired of writing my things I used to go to have a bit an exploring walk. Then at night we had dinner together, on some days after dinner we went out to pick some vegies from the garden 

Besides that I met with my boss from the previous winery(Benziger). We ended up having some beers and also at the last place of a trivia. The next day I visited the winery and they provided a bicycle to me. On that day I rode it up to Cloverdale which is a small town inside the mountains. I had a burger than turned back all together the trip was around 45 km. On Friday I went to the bank again then had a coffee and a great conversation with an elderly man about a lot of things. I also tried to find a vehicle to rent or buy but it seems that I have to buy one.
